Few things are as frustrating as a messaging app that doesn’t work the way you expect—especially during a busy workday.
Microsoft Teams is an essential for millions of professionals every day. It helps keep businesses connected and the conversations flowing.
Yet many users are encountering small persistent quirks that can disrupt workflow and test patience.
Microsoft is listening and responding to the feedback.
Teams is continually being improved and refined, with some long-awaited fixes on the way.
The biggest change is simple, but powerful. You’ll soon be able to choose what the Enter key does.
Teams has always sent a message when Enter was pressed. This often leads to incomplete messages going out when you’re intending to start a new paragraph.
It’s a common reflex.
Now, with the new update, you’ll have the option to use Enter to start a new line instead of sending. Giving you more control.
Soon you’ll also be able to forward multiple messages at once.
Until now, Teams has only allowed you to forward one message at a time. Making context sharing clunky and time consuming.
With this update, you’ll be able to select up to five messages from a chat or channel and forward them together in one go.
Both features are rolling out now.
While these features may seem minor, they address everyday pain points that can add up over time.
For businesses that rely on Teams for core communication, these changes can have significant impact by removing unnecessary friction.
Smooth, intuitive messaging helps teams stay focused, productive, and connected.
